Presented by Opus United, Fortnite’s Party Royal plans to air, We The People, part of a series of conversations around race in America, on July 4th. It will be hosted by Van Jones with the discussion centered around systemic racism in media, culture, and entertainment.

✊🏿 Saturday, July 4 at @ 8:46am CDT (9:46am EDT) in Party Royale [in honor of the length of time officer Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s neck in Minneapolis].
✊🏿 Features former Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Elaine Welteroth, Atlantic writer Jemele Hill, rapper and activist Killer Mike, and hip hop musician Lil Baby.
✊🏿 To watch: log in to Fortnite during showtime, select “Party Royale” mode. Once in, head to the big screen on the Western side of the island.
✊🏿 Epic Games debuted Party Royale in April, a separate social space separate from the main Battle Royale mode.
✊🏿 Following its Party Royale debut, We The People will re-air multiple times -- every other hour for 24 hours -- through the day on July 4.

Fortnite has hosted a bevy of digital acts most notably, virtual concerts from musicians like Diplo, Deadmau5, and Travis Scott’s Astroworld in April that drew 27.7M unique players in-gameacross the five events.
