Instagram Tests Personal Fundraiser Features

Instagram has launched its new fundraising feature to test on Android, with an upcoming iOS version. Users can launch one for a personal cause, their small business, a friend, or an important cause.

💰 Fundraisers will last for 30 days from creation, can be extended as many times as creators want.
💰 Creators must be 18 years old to run a fundraiser.
💰 Donors can be anonymous, but campaign creators will see their username, profile name, and donation amount.
💰 To date, people have raised $65M for COVID-19 and racial justice fundraisers globally across Instagram and Facebook.

In the coming months, IG will expand Personal Fundraisers to the US, UK and Ireland and find easier integrations to share fundraising in Feed and Stories.
